Installated, inducted, induced???

This is Bobby, with his mom waving in the background, in front of Toronto Alliance Church. The church is at 602 Queen Street West just west of Bathurst on the second floor right above the fabric store, mac FAB.

Bobby has been officially welcomed as the youth pastor of TAC. Apparently, some KFC (aka dirty bird) sealed the deal. Bobby's whole family...including all those nieces & nephews...were there & Denise! Thanks for coming, it meant alot. The service was a very special moment for us and Bill's charge will forevermore ring in our heads. "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28 & the towel....Stunning & Inspiring!!

Also cool was to have so many people over to our apartment...it was like a revolving door...just the way we like it! The 3 letter crew from Brampton came down as well. Good times!!

Let the good times roll!

One Broken Lamp...Not Bad

Bobby lovin' on the jr high retreat air. When people pray crazy good things happen. They prayed for snow and it snowed like crazy!

Bobby and an amazing leadership team took 16 jr highs to Guelph for a weekend of good times, God experiences and wacky games.

Bobby was feelin' the love the whole weekend. He told his now famous 'wet the bed' stories, fart jokes/impressions, and don't forget his deoderant rants! Bobby also got to teach them how to pray by going thru "the Lord's prayer" compliments of Matthew & David Chotka. Good things!

Other than one broken lamp and all the leaders taking a sick day, the retreat seems like it was a big success. Bobby feels tighter with the youth. The youth know him better and most seem to still like him (ha ha). All connected with God on various levels and were told repeatedly that they are loved! God continues to work and answer prayers...above and beyond what we expect!!

Our Little Cone Head

The cat's had a bit of a skin problem. Very gross. But we switched food and she adorned the cone for a week and she's pretty much healed up. She was hilarious with the cone. It was business as usual...she scratched the cone, licked the cone, ran around in the cone, played with her strings & crinkle frog all while wearing the cone. I'm sure she'd love to model the cone for anyone who comes over! Ha Ha.

Bobby loves T.O...just not this hat or this pic!

Well, we're pretty much all settled in. Here's what's new!

Bobby's put the final coat of paint on his office. They decided to split up Leslie (the children's pastor) and Bobby's office by putting a wall in. Now the extremely organized mess that is Bobby will be self-contained. Good news for all! I, for one, am VERY happy for Leslie. Coming from personal experience, sharing space with Bobby is trying...mostly trying for Bobby!!! Ha ha. He's quite particular. Do I have a seconder? Bobby just knows how he likes things to be...Bob Bourne Sr. (Bobby's Dad) is coming Friday to help put shelving. The office is like being in a cosy honeydew melon.

Bobby will also be 'inducted' (or whatever the right word is) as "Pastor of Youth Stuff" at Toronto Alliance Church on Sunday the 19th. He'll also start looking at starting the ordaining process after the high school retreat. I think!

Bobby & I are getting to know lots of the youth from the church, the street and in the community. As many of you know, Bobby is amazing when it comes to meeting people. He just makes it look easy and people are drawn to him. Its great to be in a position where its all about relationships and reaching out...things Bobby loves!
